About West Linn Hairport

The West Linn Hairport originated in the early 1970s as a barbershop owned by barber Dave Bailey. It was purchased in 1975 by Cheryl Keicher, who converted it into a full-service salon serving women and families. Hiring from local beauty schools, Cheryl found her passion in educating new stylists in the art and science of hair design. In 1990, Cheryl merged the West Linn Hairport with Melenee Hair Design and moved the salon to the Robinwood Shopping Center. After fifty years of leadership and mentorship within the community, Cheryl sold the business in November 2025. Following this transition, the salon was relocated to the Willamette neighborhood in March of 2026. Cheryl continues to service her clients at the West Linn Hairport, continuing her dedication to the community as a vital member of the team. She remains deeply involved in the salon's mission by assisting in the training and development of future stylists, ensuring her legacy of excellence and education carries on in the shop’s new chapter. 

The West Linn Hairport continues to hire and train new talent to help them achieve their goals. More than 50 years into the art of hair design, we are still helping people look and feel their best in the West Linn community!
